While the Brooklyn Bridge would be a fantastic stroll, there are tons of other bridges to walk over.  Walking across a bridge may sound like a strange adventure, but you’ll stumble upon beautiful views and realize how long bridges really are.  It’s pretty romantic too.

This sounds hard and expensive, but it doesn’t have to be.  Plan a night at a B&B in a small town nearby and jump in the car.  Head to the beach for the day and stay in a hotel rather than drive home.  Just make the plans in advance and check her calendar.

Meteor showers occur only a few times a year.  Check out the schedule for the Leonids or Geminids, grab a blanket, walk to a park (or any open area), and just look up.  These meteor showers are some of the best in the northeast, so surprise her and start wishing!

We know they’re all the same. But there’s something about street fairs that we love – maybe it’s the haggling, or maybe it’s the junk we don’t need, regardless, spend an hour and walk around with us.

Boys! Save your money and splurge on a one or two night stay at one of the fanciest hotels in town.  Waste no time packing.. you’ll only need your toothbrushes.

Help us both relive our childhood, and take us to a toy store.  It will be fun to see what kids these days are playing with, and some toys will spark some nostalgia from our childhood.
